Steals of the Draft: QB Edition

Fantasy Pros grabs the rankings and current ADP of every player using all of the major fantasy platforms: ESPN, Yahoo, CBS and FFC. They put that information here. I’m grabbing my knife and dissecting that bitch like a frog in 8th grade bio. In these columns, I’ll be choosing three ballers at each position whose ADPs are way too low. You can call them sleepers, risk-reward reepers, Bill Cosby creepers, I don’t care. For whatever reason, you get these guys at a fraction of what they’re worth. They have third round value, but they’re ADP has them going in the late fourth. You don’t have to feel bad for reaching far above their ADP because, ultimately, they’re worth it.

In these columns, I’m running through all 32 NFL teams and making a bold fantasy football and/or statistical prediction for each one. When January comes around I’ll either be really, really ridiculously good-looking or I’ll end up losing my 308 Twitter followers 😥 Please don’t draft your fantasy team based on these, or do, I don’t care. Anyways, up today we have the AFC West:

Carson Palmer 2015 Fantasy Outlook

Carson Palmer suited up for only six games in 2014 due to an ACL injury but was on pace for a career statistical season. In Palmer’s five full games last year, he averaged 18.8 fantasy points per, at least 17 in each, while posting an impressive 11:2 touchdown-to-interception ratio, which would have made him fantasy’s seventh best overall QB paced out over the full season. He’s being severely under-drafted at his current ADP of 140 (QB21) this year.

Palmer’s fully healed from last season’s injury and has participated in all training camp activities with no restraints or limitations. He’s in an excellent situation in Arizona with Continue reading Carson Palmer 2015 Fantasy Outlook

Sam Bradford 2015 Fantasy Outlook

Returning from an ACL injury, Sam Bradford was shipped off to Philly to play in Chip Kelly’s high scoring offense. What does this mean for the former number one overall pick’s fantasy outlook? A lot more generous than it would have looked like had he stayed put in St. Louis.

Being the quarterback in this offense alone is a boost to a player’s value as we saw with both Nick Foles and Mark Sanchez, average quarterbacks at best. In Matthew Berry’s 100 Fantasy Football Facts for 2015 column, he said this: Continue reading Sam Bradford 2015 Fantasy Outlook
